Warrington-based HR SaaS Company, Talos360, awarded Best Example of Marketing Engagement

Cheshire-based HR tech firm Talos360 has won the coveted Best Example of Marketing Engagement award at the prestigious Engage Awards with their innovative Christmas marketing campaign: ‘Santa: a HR Story’.

Managing all campaign concepts, video creative and production in-house, B2B brand Talos360 were a surprise winner on the night, with strong competition from other great companies including well-known consumer enterprise brands such as Bupa Global and Boots UK.

The Engage Awards have been operating for nine years and represent the very best in engagement across sales, customer, employee and marketing. This year’s awards received a record-breaking number of entries across 40 categories, designed to represent the very best of the human experiences associated with brands.

Talos360’s innovative campaign focused on the challenges Santa faced last Christmas, in hiring the right elves to maintain his employer brand reputation and run his global logistics network. Santa was good enough to agree to a video testimonial” for Talos360, which was hosted on their website alongside other testimonials and reviews.

As a fast-growing B2B talent technology brand, Talos360 successfully demonstrated their human side with this short, highly-entertaining video.‘Santa: a HR story’ represented a break from more traditional B2B marketing. Totally unique, blending humour with real-life HR recruitment pain points (minus the elves), Talos360 promoted the advert across LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, simultaneously raising brand and product awareness.

In just over two weeks, ‘Santa: a HR Story’ introduced over 50,000 new people to the applicant tracking system provider. Maximised brand exposure for Talos360 also contributed to increases in organic website traffic from the time of the advert launch to beyond Christmas and into January 2024. At its peak, website traffic was up on October figures by a colossal 106%.

The Engage Awards judging panel commented: “This was a well-written entry with very engaging written and video content. There is a clear space for humour in B2B marketing – so few candidates are able to pull this off like Talos360.”

The 2024 Engage Awards were held on the 26th November at the Brewery in London, hosted by comedian, actress and model Ellie Tayler. Over 700 delegates attended the glittering event to celebrate success across four categories: sales, employee, marketing and customer.
