When it comes to your resume, clarity and conciseness will make the biggest impact. Avoid using cliches such as “hard worker”, “team player” or “go-getter”, which add little value. Use active verbs such as “led”, “achieved”, or “delivered”, to highlight your accomplishments.
Timing is everything. Your CV will stay focused if you only include roles that are relevant to the position for which you’re applying. Trim any unnecessary details, such as date of birth, marital situation, or photographs, unless requested. Maintain a professional tone by removing all personal information.
