Cezanne, UK-based provider of HR and payroll software, announced that it has acquired Occupop. This Dublin-based company is known for its applicant-tracking system. This acquisition will integrate Occupop’s hiring platform with Cezanne’s suite of HR and payroll software.
Cezanne offers software to automate HR and payroll processes including recruitment, onboarding and HR administration. It also provides compliance, absence management and performance reviews. Occupop technology is now integrated into the platform, offering customers a complete hiring solution.
Cezanne has not had a major acquisition since March 2023, when NorthEdge invested in the company. Caroline Gleeson, David Banaghan and Occupop co-founders will join Cezanne’s management team to help support the business growth.
Enhancing Recruitment Capabilities
Simon Noble, CEO at Cezanne, stressed the importance of integrating technology for recruitment into the platform.
Noble stated that by integrating Occupop technology into the wider product suite of Noble, they are addressing an important part of employee lifecycles – recruitment – and providing a solution which makes it easy for everyone to access.
Cezanne has enjoyed a period in which it has experienced strong growth. The company will expand its offering in 2024 with the launch and development of its own payroll platform. The company also invested in key leadership, including the promotion to CEO of Simon Noble.
Caroline Gleeson (co-founder of Occupop) described the acquisition as positive for both companies.
Joining forces with Cezanne opens up tremendous opportunities for both our team and our customers. This was a natural match because we both share the vision of making HR accessible and intuitive. “By integrating Cezanne’s comprehensive platforms, we can provide our customers with a seamless experience throughout the employee lifecycle”, she said.
